Brian Vongchanphen

D.D.S.
Aloha! I am a graduate of the Loma Linda School of Dentistry. Before that I attended Pacific Union College in Napa Valley, California.  Prior to that I attended Sunset Beach Christian School on the North Shore.

Some of my fondest memories of growing up here were my grandparents chicken farm where they raised chickens grew flowers and many other types of produce. It's amazing to be in a place where I can fish, surf and golf all in the same day.

My wife, and our three children Brayden, Capri & Lilah are very happy to be living in this beautiful area we call home. As a family we enjoy being close to relatives, going to parks, and getting recommendations on fun, new places to eat and see. I am truly fortunate to have this opportunity to serve the community I grew up in. It is my honor to get to know you and help you with your oral health needs.

Office Manager

Hello! I am the Office Manager. My goal is to work along side Sally upfront helping you with your schedules, insurance and any other questions you have.

I was born and raised on Oahu and have learned the true meaning of “Aloha”. Whether it’s a phone call or a visit, I hope to make each and every one of our dental families feel welcomed. My childhood consisted of many beach days, playing various sports, and dancing hula. After graduating from Hawaiian Mission Academy, I attended Pacific Union College where I obtained my Nursing Degree. Specializing in OB/Maternity, I enjoy bringing life into the world and being apart of uniting families for the first time.

Dr. Vongchanphen and I explored California for 18 years and are very excited to be back home to raise our three children, Brayden, Capri & Lilah. We have truly been blessed with this opportunity to serve in the Wahiawa community.  Aloha and Welcome!

Patient Coordinator

Aloha! As the patient Coordinator for the past 37 years, I am the voice and the face of the front office. I started when I was a junior in high school. This is my one and only job until today besides being a mom. This is my second home and family. I am truly blessed to be a part of this amazing family who I love to work with. I love getting to know and meet new people; so being at the front desk is my home base. I am passionate about making a difference in the lives of our patients and want them to feel comfortable the moment they walk in the door.

I have an amazing husband named Richard. We’ve been married for 31 years and are blessed with three amazing children, (18) Adrienne Joy “AJ”,  (15) Richard Dean “Mac”,  (11) Ryder and my fur dogs, Maui and Moana. I love watching my boys play tackle football and love spending time together. I’m blessed to have an incredible family who are my #1 fans. I would be lost without them.

Barbara Souki

Assistant

Aloha! I am a Dental Assistant. I was born on Oahu but raised on the Big Island, Kona side.  I have four brothers and I am the only girl.

Growing up for me was fun but hard work: lots of chores, so no time for TV. We spent a lot of time outside which was our playground. From childhood to high school I was very active in sports such as volleyball, track and field, softball, and paddling.

Till this day paddling is my favorite, my passion, my healing: I LOVE IT! I graduated from Konawaena High School. I then continued to (I.A.A) International Airline Academy School in Washington State. After many years past, I decided to obtain my Dental Assistant Certification.

After Moving back to Oahu, I met my husband Vernon and raised our 3 beautiful children together: Solomon, Sarina and Noah. As a family, we enjoy going to the beach, having BBQ’s, and hanging out with family and friends. We are all also frequent gym members as well. I truly believe having an active lifestyle is good for the heart, body and soul.

Sandy Sua

Assistant

Hi!
I’m one of the Dental Assistants.  I have worked as an Assistant for 20 yrs. in various dental offices.  However my heart holds a special place for the community of Wahiawa which I love.

Besides being born at Wahiawa General Hospital, my family (Clark/Akina’s) are deep rooted here.  My great grandpa was the sheriff back in the 30’s and 40’s.  They lived where the swimming pool is today.  So being able to give back and serve the Wahiawa community today is a great honor and privilege.

My husband and I have four children Skylar,  Sulia, Nephi and Mosaea.  Our oldest daughter is married and lives on the North Shore with her husband.   The thing that brings our family most joy is spending time with each other no matter what we’re doing.  Even if it’s just sitting down and talking.  Service in our church keeps us busy and besides each other it’s the next most important thing in our lives.
